Saving a Chapel Hill Icon

October 15, 2013

Recently, JD Service Now was called upon for a job that involved an over 100 year old Redwood and some compromised plumbing lines. Using a new technology, pipe relining, we were able to successfully remove the damaged piping without hurting the root system of this Chapel Hill icon. The tree was planted over 100 years ago by Professor Coker of the UNC Botany department and is the last survivor of his efforts, it stands now as the Columbia Street Redwood. Thanks to this new technology and the care we place on any job big or small, the tree remains undamaged by this recent work to the nearby sewer system.

Call us at JD Service Now today for your Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill plumbing needs and know we take great care in our work and value our community.
